cabbge vs MetaMask
The largest crypto wallet, with Hyperliquid perps built into it since October 2025. Both put Hyperliquid in front of you without taking custody. Here is the difference, including where MetaMask is the better choice.
| cabbge | MetaMask | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee on a perp fill | None today | 10 bps per fill (0.1%), the maximum Hyperliquid allows |
| Custody | Non-custodial. Agent key that cannot withdraw. | Your funds sit in the MetaMask wallet you already own. |
| Popups per trade | None after a two-signature setup | None — MetaMask holds the key. |
| What you can trade | Perps on crypto, tokenised stocks, commodities and FX, plus Hyperliquid prediction markets | Hyperliquid perps, 40x, 150+ tokens. |
| Copy trading | Yes, confirm-then-mirror with per-copy caps | No |
When MetaMask is the better pick
Use MetaMask if MetaMask is already your wallet and you value one app over a cheaper fee. It is the most-installed wallet there is, and the perps tab is a few taps from where your funds already sit.
When cabbge is
MetaMask charges the venue maximum, 10 bps, on every fill in both directions. cabbge charges nothing today and is capped by the same rule if it ever charges. cabbge also covers prediction markets and copy-trading, which MetaMask does not.
The thing both get right
Neither takes custody of your funds. Both trade against Hyperliquid's own order book, so the liquidity, the prices and the settlement are identical — the difference is the surface and the fee, not the market.
Your own wallet. Nothing custodied. Not available in the US or UK.
